Clayton Gibb, long damned for the selling of his mortal soul for musical success in turn of the century America, is betting the Devil (aka Jerry) in a double or nothing fashion. The bet: Gibb will live a second life and achieve what he sold his soul for the first time around without the aid of the Devil. The catch: The Devil gets to define 'musical success' and has set the stakes impossibly high. The prize: If Gibb can succeed, he will be free from the Devil's clutches. (If he fails, he will not only continue to be servant to Jerry... he will be eligible for the most vile, brutal and eternal kind of servitude.) Following the loss of his mother Ayako, Takumi receives a Lygodium box with a letter inside addressed to Wira. He then decides to travel from Japan to Thailand in order to return the box to its owner.There, Takumi meets Lita, Wira's daughter. He learns that his mother once asked Wira to teach her the art of Lygodium weaving and an incredible bond was formed though, in the end, she decided to return to Japan much to Wira's despair. Learning of their story evokes new thoughts about Takumi's own relationships.

Tawat, a young millionaire secretly in love with Namtip, disguises himself as a mail-man and delivers his own love letter to her every day. One day he got bitten by her dog, so she invites him to have dinner in her house just to compensate for what her dog has done to him. After that, they always chat every time they see each other.

While studying in medical college Arun Kumar Mathur (Shashi Kapoor) has a misunderstanding over a love letter with Kavita Kapoor (Sadhana), and must leave the college, much to his dismay. Kavita later finds out that it was not Arun's fault, but Arun has already left town. Arun's marriage is arranged with Saroj Chowdhary (Seema Deo), who also happens to be a distant relative of Kavita. When Arun loses his vision in an accident, Saroj is unable to go to take care of him, and Kavita takes her place. Unwilling to reveal her identity, Kavita let's him think it is Saroj, not her. She learns that he still hates and despises her. Soon it will be time to take bandages off his eyes, and he will be able to see again, much to the dread of Kavita.
